The Team (Written By Josh)

Josh: Me

Judd: An honest, loving father who is very hard working!
He's the leader of the pack!

Cathy: A lover of truth who is very personable and is open like a book.
She's ready to take big leaps of faith!

Christen: A more reserved girl but when she has something to say,
watch out! Its either full of wit or full of wisdom!
Christy: A silly pickle, yet willing to seriously serve, she's a well rounded
southern bell who brings the lighter side of life with her.

Jonathan: A shepherd (pastor) who is actually involved in serious service with his sheep! That's a huge deal!

Rob: A humble guy who loves God and is willing to serve outside of his comfort zone... the makings of a hero of Biblical proportions!

Marty: a beefy red headed hunter from Mississippi, who sings, cries and is uber romantic!

Laura: Sweet, yet a go-getter, she loves children and likes adventure!
A true woman of faith for the history books!

Kendall: A mission trip connoisseur.
She is like mission Rambo, killing one after another!

Joy: Her name says it all...well, most of it! She's also made up of spunk and compassion and "I don't care what people think about my dancing"!

Scarlett: A very helpful nurse who was ok with being stuck in the back room alone for the sake of the sick children. She's a bit like Adam Ant (a female version), almost invisible, yet we'd be doomed without her!
Taryn: A lone ranger who throws caution to the wind for the sake of her kids, and she's an adoption trail blazer!

It's totally God who brought this amazing group of people together. Most of us didn't know each other, yet as soon as we met we all fit right together. Each person had gifts and talents that were used for His glory. It was obvious that we were all there for the same purpose; to serve our Lord. Life long friendships were made on this trip and by the end of the week it felt like a family.

  1. Amen, amen and amen! Praise God for orchestrating such an amazing group of people! Kindred spirits, indeed! And, for the record, I have serious African dancing skills!!!
